MuseScore Ritard

For all of you cool peeps who use MuseScore:  Does anyone know how to put in a ritard?  Can't seem to find it anywhere.

That's cause it doesn't exist...sort of. You can create staff text that says "rit.", but it doesn't do anything. If you want an in-depth description on how to fake a ritard, you can PM me. (Unless other people want to know too?)
