i have got a question: what do u know about haydn, since this year is the haydn year (haydn died in 1809) due to the fact that i live in the city where haydn worked for the Esterházys, i really like his music
have u learned anything about haydn in school?
im really interested in your answers

well he was a friend of Mozart and the teacher of beethoven (i think thats the reason why he became such a genius) and he invented the symphony and the string quartett

(this one is called "Die Schöpfung", you can translate it like that : "the creation" (i think) it is an oratorio and maybe his most famous opus; 2 years ago i watched "Die Schöpfung" and it was overwhelming so try it)
