How come everyone speaks French, but no one speaks Spanish?

Considering I was born in a place where the entire population speaks French I kinda have to.

Not exactly. Not everyone here speaks French. I just happened to be born in the Province of Québec.

I'm in Ontario a lot because I live in Michigan.  No one speaks French there.

Yep. People only speaks French in Québec and New-Brunswick/etc. In Ontario there are some places where people speak French, but they're not common. Also one day we shall meet in Ontario y/y

I sometimes run into Québecois when im in Nova Scotia (because im in old Acadia). But whenever im in Moncton, I can speak French no problem. The NB border is like 11km from where I usually am.

Here the Canada border is like 1900 miles away
