Olimar: is that a Bb? I can't see the key Sig. Also, just wondering, seeing as I never have to play down there, do you fake it in 2nd or use both valves and play it properly? I've heard mixed reviews of either method

Yep, in trombone language, we call it a double-pedal Bb. Yeah, some people lip it down and that works well, but with my setup I'll be doing it with both valves in a flat 5. For me it speaks better there d:
