The composer isn't Koji Kondo.
The music was done by Naoko Mitome and Chika Sekigawa.
And the second half of the song isn't there. If you didn't want to arrange it or whatever then that's fine, but maybe you could consider adding the rest of it?

2) OMG xD you're right! I simply forgot it.... mhm... let's see if I have enough time to "rearrange" it^^. But do you think the part I left out sounds good on piano? I don't think so :/. Moreover it's really hard to arrange it xD.

It's a great arrangement! Some of the harmony is a little excessive but really it's not as big of a problem as it could be. Really great! Glad to see you're back! (Although this theme in the game got REALLY old after I heard it repeat eighteen billion times...)

This sounds great! I always felt that Ruby and Sapphire didn't get a lot of recognition, but they have some great tunes in them. Thanks for the arrangement!
