The USB I'm installing Linux from. Also, Windows exists; it's just broken beyond comfortable usability. I can repair it without loss of data. It's just awful.

I was going to say something about Linux but then I remembered how almost anything is better than Windows 10.

Windows 10 is fine with some annoying mandatory features. Whatever that means to you. Linux is great for specific purposes if you know how to use it. This shouldn't be happening. The installer is a GUI that asks you to make a user. But the installer is broken or something.

I made very fast friends with my coworker and she had to move away to Arizona to get away from her crazy dad... This is now the 3rd time in my life that my best friend has moved away.

Lemme just rant a lil bit:
Today has been EXTREMELY mentally taxing. More so than normal. First class of the day, my teacher teaches me a HUGE portion of trig in 3 minutes on one notecard. It was difficult enough trying to keep up, but then, I started trying to understand beta decay for academic team, and I spent a good 2 hours researching how an electron can originate in the nucleus & other such deep questions (none of which I'm having any luck finding anything online for, and none of the science teachers are intelligent enough or specialised enough in physics to answer), and I ended the day with researching fundamental particles (fermions, bosons, leptons, hadrons, etc.). So you could imagine I'm mentally exhausted, and on the verge of having a headache. Then I got in the car. Who was in it? None other than my PRECIOUS little sister, whose claim to fame is the inability to be quiet or sit still for any period of time unless she's watching YouTube (and even that's debatable). And what is she doing? "Singing". Oh right, SHE CANT SING. And then I shut the door and the questions start rolling in from both her and Mom "How was your day? What's that paper on your binders for? Can I read it? Why do you have a flashcard? Do you have any homework? What all did you learn today?" And I kinda lost it. On my sister. Because all those questions were from her (she watches mom & tries to imitate her; id est, be MY mother. SHE CANT BE A PARENT WORTH TWO PINCHES O' STEW (like mother like daughter, amirite?)) And of course, mom gets mad at me for going off on sister, yet she doesn't understand that sister TRIES to annoy me. Or that I'm as exhausted as I am from what I did. Or any other factors that could possibly be in my favor. Instead, I end up getting scolded about how impatient I am and how I need to lighten up and crap about how I'd never make it in the real world, because there's always SOMEONE who will be talking. (Which implies that I'll have a family and/or wife at some point in my life, or I'll be homeless)

Based on science I haven't personally investigated, it also comes from the mother, so whether his dad is doesn't have an effect. Maternal grandfather or uncles are the better indicator.
