Super Mario Galaxy 2

Game comes out Sunday - been listening to some game tunes on YouTube.

Throwback Galaxy is exactly same as "Bob-omb Battlefield" from Mario 64 and the Bowser Lava Lair is same as classic path to Bowser Battle in Mario 64.

Looks like this game comes with a free dose of nostalgia.

Like that person who got Animal Crossing: City Folk early.

They probably went to Wal-Mart or something and asked (some one who has no idea when games are released) where they put SMG2, and they went in the backroom to get it.

Final Boss Music

I dunno. The beginning is obviously similar to the first one. But this one... I think the percussion could've been better. Glad to see that the OST is released though.

Basically what I hear is that they made the entire thing too big orchestra-ish, and that it's just annoying how grand the ENTIRE thing sounds.

I dunno. Some songs that have that solid brass in there sound really good too. Of course, SMG is the first Mario game to have Orchestra music, so I guess they just wanted to continue tradition.
