You don't have use voice or video if you don't want to. You can just stick to text chatting. That's usually what I do.

Wait, 8 PM is fine. Though it means 1 AM for me and therefore it isn't a halloween party for me, but hey, I get to celebrate Christmas before you guys so we're even. Also new rule; bring a costume or you get banned from the party. Any costume is fine, even a small one.
