Yesterday I ran in the Travis Manion Heroes' Run. That was fun. But I also got to meet a fireman that served in New York when 9/11 happened. He and I spoke for a bit, and I'm amazed at how he had this attitude of "You gotta take what life gives you & give it your all." I can only imagine what it was like... I am honored to have been able to talk with him.
