Well people, I've had an idea! :D

I'm planning to create a Wikidot site where NSM members can join and are given each a page to upload their arrangements. It's easy to upload, very quick and when people want to download 'em from here, there's no waiting time! Basically, you guys can upload your files with ease at any time! My arrangements are already up on my site, but I'm going to make one that only NSM members can join.

So, how about it? For this to go ahead, I would like a decent number of people who are willing to do this. Just post something in bold that will let me know if you're interested. ;)

If you have any questions regarding this project, feel free to ask! Thanks!

Or, you could just upload them to your own public Dropbox folder.

dropbox does seem like the better option.

.mus files don't take that much space so the 2GBs of space offered for the free accounts seems sufficient.

An online storage thing that you can sync to a folder on a PC/Mac/Penguinthing as well as mobile devices like iOS, Android, WP7, etc.

You can also access it all online through their web interface and if you place files in a public folder, you can generate a download link that lets people directly download the file.

If you sign up through my signature you get a bonus 250MB added to the 2GB storage :D

When I saw the title of this thread I thought it was the work of a bot.

Fuck logic, that shit is boring, lame and does not always support my opinions.

Greg

Nah bots aren't smart enough to refer to the "arrangements".

So anything that I put in that folder on my computer it'll show up on the dropbox folder?

Thanks. For a moment there I was worried, though. I almost needed to blow you.

Yes.

When you install Dropbox, it makes a Dropbox folder somewhere on your computer you specify, and you drop files in that which are then uploaded to their servers and pushed to whatever other devices you have Dropbox on.  Of course, it only downloads stuff on your phone if you tell it to.

You can manage the files either from your computer or from the interface online, when you update in one location it updates everywhere else.  You can also access previous versions of files from the online interface.

There's probably a bunch of other features I'm not aware of o:

I havn't tried any of these yet, but co.cc is a free domain though. Just a tip if you want a free webpage without the normal ones (like webs etc.)
Before I used to add my submissions to my own page, which I quit with. Now I use mediafire for simplicity

You can install the same dropbox folder on two separate computers, right?
It's dangerous to go alone, take me with you! [JUB has joined the party.]
