Castlevania?

Has anyone played the Castlevania series? I think it's one of the best classic franchises that has held the test of time, mainly the older ones.

I prefer the older, platformer Castlevania's, but I love Symphony of the Night as much as any fanboy. I wonder why there's no love for the series?

I agree with you completely! I guess people haven't even bought Castlevania games and experience it's pure awesomeness! It's not so famous series...

Yea I've played most all of the metroidvania style games since SotN, one of my favorite series for sure.  Also has some of my favorite game music ^^  Shame the last DS game was only mediocre though.

I like both types of castlevania. The older games are hella difficult though.

I thought order of ecclesia was excellent. Difficult like the older games with the metroidvania style.
