So, anyway, I was thinking of hosting an award show for everything Nintendo, since that's what this site is all about! More info below. Learn how you can participate in the event!
This is the first NinSheetMusic Nintendo Awards. I don't know if there will be another one, it depends on the success of this one. Here is how it will work, step by step.
1. The list of awards are listed below. We'll start at Award 1 and make suggestions for nominees together.
2. After we fill in nominees for all the awards, we will go over and double check it. If we think it's good, we'll move to step three.
3. The polls for each award will be put up. I don't know if it will be on polldaddy, but I haven't used it too much, and I believe it costs a bit, but we'll fine something to use for the polls. If this gets enough support, I think it'd be cool to put them on the main site, but if not, we can keep it just in the forums.
4. We wait. After a month or so, I'll or someone will gather the results.
5. Sign ups for presentations will begin. More details on this later. You can choose to present and award's results with the rest of the forum in the form of an image, comic, or something like that.
6. Once the presentations fill, we give the presenters 2 weeks to complete their presentation(s). More times may be given if needed.
7. A date will be decided for the ceremony. This date will be on a weekend and will be over the course of a week. Some of these days will simply be sharing presentations and looking at results, while some of these will be saved for special events such as video game tournaments. I will be looking for hosts for these tournaments later.
8. Once this date comes, the ceremony is celebrated through the week. Once it finishes, the event is over until a next one (again, it depends on how successful this will be)
Sounds good? This will only be successful if we all help and have fun with it!
