Loool I took a course on modern art and I think modern artists are just trolls. Modern art is what came up after they thought they needed to redefine art after photography (capturing realistic images) was invented. The other thing I got out of the class was that it's mostly hype. Get a rich person to buy your modern art and it's modern art...

On topic: People who complain that their subject doesn't need them to read books or write well are totally wrong since everyone actually needs those skills.
