I wouldn't say The Legend of Zelda is the worst on the list... I mean it's old, but still...  The game is beautiful.

-Worst/least extensive soundtrack (Excuse me if I don't want to listen to the same 7 bars on repeat every dungeon; also, this is the entire soundtrack, including repeats.)
-Least effective graphics (I'm not saying that less advanced graphics are automatically worse, but advancements are made for a reason. The graphics in this game are essentially able to convey an idea, and little else.)
-Least immersive story (Oh, so I start off my quest by being handed a sword by some old dude who I'll meet about 20 identical clones of throughout the game, with essentially no explanation or sound? No, yeah, that's cool.)
-Worst gameplay mechanics (Do I really need to provide examples for this one? The sword combat aside, you get a bow that essentially costs rupees to fire. You'd spend less time farming for projectiles if you were to leave the dungeon and go to a fairy fountain every time you get hurt, just to keep your sword shooting laser beams. Also, laser beam sword.)

What, exactly, is so beautiful about it? Sure, it was good for its time, but so was a fucking flip phone, and I don't see people worshiping those out of nostalgia. Did the game set the grounds for one of the greatest video game franchises of all time? Yes. Is it still kind of fun to play? Yes. That alone, however, does not make it objectively better than any other game remaining on this list.

2. It was the first game ever to use a save feature. My, how that's such a staple nowadays!
