All the Modern Men thing looks intriguing enough, and it seems a lot of effort has been put in making the game (particularly, I'd like to remark its soundtrack, very very good work so far), so I'm definitely gonna play it.

Also, iirc Itoi expressed interest in playing it, and maybe it changes his mind and decides to do something more with Mother himself, who knows... ::)

Every Mother game is like a trial by fire for Itoi though, they were all almost cancelled at some point and all of them had to be saved by higher-ups at Nintendo (Miyamoto and Iwata mostly), so I think when Itoi says he's done, he's done. He's getting pretty old and quite frankly it's understandable if he doesn't have the energy in him to make any more masterpieces.

That being said Mother 4 looks fantastic and I'll definitely play the crap out of it.

If anything, I just want the Mother series to have something more in the West than just EarthBound on VC. Anything. Please.

Mother 1 is officially fully translated though so it'd take about 2 seconds to put it on Virtual Console. Plus there isn't nearly as much controversial stuff in the game compared to Mother 3.

Thank goodness, no Nintendo smartphone games on E3. Hopefully they'll focus on unannounced titles then!
