It's in development, I know. But don't they have a release date? I mean, I know games that had release dates 5 years before development...Wii-U won't last another 5 years, so it must be released soon...

Nintendo said they plan on announcing what NX is next e3, so I doubt we'll see its release for at least another couple years or something.
