Oh boy, here we go, time to give back to this awesome site that's been a big help!

I use Musescore, never touched Finale in my life, so help with formatting the .mus properly would be great!

This thread should help you format. MuseScore 3.6 messes up the template file, I can send you the new one on request.
If you're not already using it you can get Finale Notepad for free, which I use for importing MusicXML Files made in MuseScore to save as Finale Files.
