TWG CIX: Shattered Post-Game

Roles
1. THC- Peridot
Spoiler
You took a really interesting role in this, for being the roleblocker, you had a major part in the alliance that formed, though you did get a bit cocky during the end of the game. You played well all around, though so congrats on the deserved win!
[close]
2. BDS Steven
Spoiler
The fact that you had to reveal your role to not get lynched isn’t a good thing, but you did start an alliance so eh.
[close]
3. Ratatta- Amethyst
Spoiler
As far as town goes you did an ok job, but you did make a bad move that got you lynched you had the trust of Toby though, until you somehow made him lose trust in you
[close]
4. Toby- Pearl
Spoiler
You we’re a bit quiet this game, yet still somehow managed to make it to the final night so kudos on your survival skills!
[close]
5. Haku- Jasper
Spoiler
Honestly you did an excellent job as Jasper, though if you hadn’t claimed seer then you wouldn’t have been lynched and the wolves might have had a chance to win.
[close]
6. SMS- Garnet
Spoiler
Awesome job seering in a game where seering doesn’t matter very much, you managed to convince the alliance of your special role and prevented Jasper from sneaking into the alliance
[close]
7. Mikey- Lapis Lazuli
Spoiler
You managed to figure out this game on your own and deal the final blows on basically both Wolves without an alliance. For this I give you Town MVP
[close]
8. Brawler- Connie
Spoiler
Your decision to wolf haku basically prevented the wolves from winning effectively. Congrats!
[close]
9. ShyYoshiGuy- Blue Diamond
Spoiler
For your first time as a wolf or playing the game in general you did okay. Your one mistake was telling Mikey you targeted Brawler, if you said anyone else Mikey might have believed you and tried to convince everyone against THC
[close]
10. Nana1Popo2- Yellow Diamond
Spoiler
You did a decent job as a wolf as well, you managed to hit Jasper night 1 which might have put you at a slight disadvantage. Still, if it wasn’t for Mikey you might have snuck under the radar until it was too late. for that I award you Wolf MVP

The Werewolf Game / TWG CI: Hydradoodle Post Game

TWG 101: Hydradoodle
A Hydra game

Players:

1. TWG Luigi- Toby and BDS- Green check
2. TWG Ness- THC and Davy
3. TWG Link- Trasdeji and Blueflower999
4. TWG Pikachu- Maelstrom and FireArrow
5. TWG Samus- Dudeman and E. Gadd
6. TWG Waluigi- Olimar and Nocturne
7. TWG Haruhi Suzumiya- TheZeldaPianist and Maestro

Seer gets a random green check when the game starts

For those of you unaware with hydra games, it's played with mystery accounts and two players share a single account.  Either player can post or do anything without the permission of the other players, but it gives you a second head to talk to.  You can do things like put an experienced player with a less experienced player or just completely randomize it.  This setup is prone to good RNG, like if the seer hits the wolf N1 or the wolf hits the seer N1, but it ought to be a quick fun game.  After how long 100 lasted I think a shorter one would be fun.

Game:
Day1: Ness and Haruchi were put in a KITB situation! Ness walks away and Haruchi dies
Night 1: Ness seers Waluigi and the wolves wolf Link
Day 2: TWG Waluigi was lynched, Ness reveals he is seer and claims that Waluigi is red, false claims that samus was his green check. He secretly messages luigi that he was really the green check
Night 2:Luigi was about to be wolfed before he claimed to be the green check, to which Samus quickly changed to Ness. Ness was going to seer Pikachu but was Wolfed
Day 3: Pikachu was lynched leading to a wolf victory

AWARDS
Luigi team
Wow, nice job on communicating you two! You made sure to think things through when it really mattered, the only thing that caused you to lose was differing opinions. Toby was set on a Samus Lynch and BDS was set on a Pikachu lynch, and no one changes BDS's mind. You get the Teamwork Award for working together the most!
[close]
Ness team
THC nice job on your best game so far, you were the front of team Ness, making those imprtant decisions and whatnot. Davy wasn't very helpful to you as i thought he would be but you managed to hanel things without him. For that, you get the Dragon Award for basically only having 1 head
[close]
Team Samus
Where to begin, you two were fantastic! Not only were you deceptive enough to fool BDS, you were the most organized wolf, sending each other messages to synchronize your posts and private chatting with one another. For your outstanding plays I'd like to award you Wolf MVP
[close]
Team Pikachu
You two were really well grounded this game, though a single mess up at the end is what did it in for you. For your well crafted defenses and firm stance despite staring down the barrel of a .45, I'd like to give you Human MVP. This was semi-voted for so congrats to you even more!
[close]
Waluigi team
what a pairing, Olimar and Noc together is either a disaster or god-like, this one was the latter. you guys didn't communicate to your advantage and attempted to automatically seem wolfy, you won though so congrats, here's a WAHlty Award for the annoyance and laughter you gave me
[close]
Link team
Good solid human playing was clear with this team, though getting wolfed night 1 killed the mojo. You get the Confirmed Human Award for not being suspicious at all!
[close]
Haruhi team
This was an unfortunate pairing for real, Maestro had to quit like day 1 so TZP was left hanging, given the opportunity, this would have been an interesting account to watch. For this you get the ironic Luck of the Draw Award for terrible luck, KITB and loss of a player included
[close]

Thank you guys so much for an incredible first time hosting! You guys are the best!

Story Telling / Brainy and E. Gadd's AP Biology Stories
« on: September 21, 2017, 04:50:18 PM »
ANNOUNCEMENT: We are going to be producing a story around 10:00 CST most weekdays (when we have AP Biology)! Also, E. Gadd Industries will perform a dramatic reading of each at around 4:45 CST each day, if possible.  I also may flesh out some of the stories more if i feel like it.

Two HIP TO $%^ BEES Uncles George Foremaning to the beat

By: BrainyLucario and E. Gadd Industries

Dudeman was thinking about Spanish Inquisition again. Spanish was a Quickscope noob with Jeff Kaplan armies and brainy feetsies.

Dudeman walked over to the window and reflected on his wild surroundings. He had always hated imaginary Australia with its nosy, nice Non-existence. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel constipated.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the thonk figure of Spanish Inquisition.

Dudeman gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a JOHN CENAAAA, frumpty, Crystal meth drinker with kush armies and insig feetsies. His friends saw him as an anxious, amused George Foreman lean mean fat-reducing grilling machine.. Once, he had even helped a raspy Omae wa mou shindeiru........NANI!! cross the road.

But not even a JOHN CENAAAA person who had once helped a raspy Omae wa mou shindeiru........NANI!! cross the road, was prepared for what Spanish had in store today.

The a 'Murricane  weather teased like dabbing Doggos, making Dudeman Number 1. Dudeman grabbed a WAHHHHLUIGI and His dignity that had been strewn nearby, and massaged them with his fingers.

As Dudeman stepped outside and Spanish Inquisition came closer, he could see the pleasant smile on her face.

"Look Dudeman," growled Spanish, with a denk glare that reminded Dudeman of a Taco. "It's not that I don't love you, but I want Memes. You owe me 2769 Cokes."

Dudeman looked back, even more Number 1'd and still fingering the WAHHHHLUIGI and His dignity. "Spanish, HIISSSS," he replied.

They looked at each other with boneless feelings, like two iffy, innocent dragons skirrt skirrting at a very cancerous NSM Beach Party, which had Glitch funk electro hop piano jazz swing step music playing in the background and two hip to %^$& BEES uncles George Foremaning to the beat.

Suddenly, Spanish lunged forward and tried to punch Dudeman in the face. Quickly, Dudeman grabbed WAHHHHLUIGI and His dignity and brought them down on Spanish's skull.

Spanish's Jeff Kaplan armies trembled and her brainy feetsies wobbled. She looked decimated, her wallet raw like a huge meme cannon.

Then she let out an agonizing groan and collapsed onto the ground. Moments later Spanish Inquisition was dead.

Dudeman went back inside and made himself a nice drink of Crystal meth with Dude, who happened to be hiding in a dark corner for some odd reason.

THE END

PM your two votes to Maelstrom by December 3

Heeeyy yooouuu guuuyyyss! The theme this time around is:

Mash-Up two video game songs and combine them into one awesome piece!

General Guidelines (Please read!)

- Take a track from two video games of your choice and write a  Mash-up using whatever real instruments you choose. (Theoretically, a person/group of people should be able to pick up the sheets and play your arrangement. If you have questions about instrumentation, please ask!)
-  you will submit a .mus, .pdf, .midi, (MP3 Optional) file that contains the Mash-up that you've created.
-After the deadline, the arrangements will be made public and polling and judging will start!
-Format anything specific like variation markings, or whatnot as measure-attached dynamics, NOT PAGE-ATTACHED TEXT so it attaches properly to the measures.
- We advise you to try and choose songs from different series/franchises. similar songs from same series could equal fewer creativity points.

Scoring

Here are the scoring guidelines:
Criteria (15 points): Do the songs the arranger combined work in a complementary way? Does the arrangement improve upon the original two?
Creativity (15 points): Creativity: Does the arranger modify the original pieces to convince us that their combination is the most unique? What sort of effect does the overall result evoke?
Preservation (10 points): Are the original themes recognizable? Be creative, but don't leave the source entirely. Someone who is familiar with the original tracks should be able to recognize your arrangement.
Orchestration (10 points):  Does the instrumentation compliment both songs equally well? How is instrumentation used to effectively combine the two pieces?
Popular Vote (15 points): How does your arrangement fare in the poll conducted after all arrangements are revealed? Exact point numbers will be determined after all entries are in.
Presentation (10 points): How user-friendly is the sheet? This category factors in three components:
Spoiler
Formatting: No need to follow the site guidelines, but please include a title, subtitle (containing original song title and game), composer, arranger, measure numbers, and page numbers. If you have Notepad or are otherwise unable to follow these, just send me a message and I'll help.
Legibility: How clear is it to a performer what to play, and how? There's no need to go overboard on fingerings and the like, as long as it's readable (e.g. no excess of ledger lines).
Playability: Would a reasonably skilled musician/group of musicians be able to perform this? Make it sound nice, but make sure someone would be able to play it too.
[close]
This last category is meant to be easy points - we're just making sure that your sheet looks nice and would be learnable by actual people.
Total of 75 points

Request / [PC] Overwatch- "Victory Theme"
« on: August 18, 2016, 03:43:32 PM »
Someone should really try and arrange this music. It seems a little too advanced for me.

14
Ughh...I still think my composition is terrible, so I debated whether I should upload it to the site. Then reality hit me. It's my first composition and I was working on a time constraint since this was made as a school project. I based it on the Impressionist music style, so be warned. I also have 2 musical references on the first page of the sheet, so please note that I did that on purpose. Now I'll stop stalling and give you the links. Please don't kill me..

Remember: THIS WILL HAVE ERRORS AND MAY BE COMPLETE TRASH. LISTENER DISCRETION IS ADVISED

So me and Deku_link are big fans of this game, and while I would love to arrange every single song from the game, I wouldn't be able to anytime soon. So that's why this project is here! I'm sure we could easily arrange the entire soundtrack in no time!
FAQ
Brainy! How do I claim a song?:
That, my friend, is simple! If the song you want is not already claimed, just post what song you want to claim in this thread.
What if a song is claimed but never completed?
Don't worry! I've decided that if a song gets claimed and isn't started for 3 months without any word from the arranger, the song will go back up for grabs. This will keep people from holding up the project!
How many songs can I claim?
Since there isn't as many songs in this game as there are in some other games...you have a limit of 7 songs. This is subject to change.
What if my question isn't answered by this thread?
Easy! Just PM me your question, and I'll answer it for you!
