Finale Allegro 2007

As the title says, that's the Finale product I have.  However, many of the MUS links say incompatible version file.  I'm not too sure, but I'm guessing that my software is older than what everyone else uses here.  Am I right to think that? or is it another known problem, like the "This link doesn't work" thread that's stickied?

I suggest you download Finale Reader for the files that don't open.

Is it possible to download Finale Reader, then save it in a compatible version?

Doubt it, as reader is only for reading the files, it can't save anything.

Yeah, like JaMaHa said.  Use Finale Reader.  You can view the files, just not edit them.  No way to go back to older versions unfortunately.
