Nine Lives' arrangement cracked the code for me, the meter was driving me nuts. I enjoyed their arrangement, but I wanted the sort of "descant" to continue over the odd-meter part.

So, I shifted the melody down to the left hand and displaced some octaves in the bass. Still not sure if I beamed the 8th note descant correctly, but it seems to read cleanly as a sort of compound meter 5.

Hey QueueDr1zzl3,

First off welcome to NinSheetMusic and thanks for submitting your sheets.

We're hesitant to go forward with this one, we have typically, barring a marked improvement over the original, restricted replacement sheets for sheets that are recent replacements. Nine Live's sheet is only a couple years old.

Also wanted to note, while I am not accusing you of copying from Nine Live's sheet, it is important to minimize referencing other's works. We are pretty strict about not using other's arrangements as basis for ones that end up on site.

Your Contra sheet should be good to go, for future reference we do have a spreadsheet of sheets that are in need of replacement.  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LQ7m8yXQctZAiTXBnzCoFt6UZXnDi_ftNrul5SmaSy8/edit?usp=sharing

Maybe, if QueueDr1zzl3's work is helpful and highly significant, we could credit both arrangers on the sheet music ?

If Nine Lives's sheet was sourced to make the new arrangement, perhaps "edited by" would be the most appropriate. Of course, this would mean consulting Nine Lives and making both arrangers an active part of the submission process.

For clarity, I only referenced Nine Lives arrangement in the post because they revealed the time signature (and that I've been playing the beginning wrong for like 20 years!). I don't know if saying that it's "based on" their arrangement is accurate, it is a subtle modification of my old arrangement based on the original. I thank Kricketune54 for the note about referencing other arrangements and I understand now why that is.
