Well, Super Circuit is almost basically a GBA Super Mario Kart port, so...

To be honest, I didn't see much improvement between the two.

Friendly reminder that the SNES ports in Mario Kart: Super Circuit are the absolute worst things in Mario Kart right next to Queen Bee.

I don't think I had much problem with the tracks themselves, but I wasn't too fond of the remixes... and it was way too annoying to get three stars on those cups.

Are you salty that Queen Bee, Lakitu, and Metal Mario made it in over Waluigi

- Removal of unnecessary "rival" system, including special items specific to rivals.

Even though I like SMK I will admit this is very annoying

- More unique courses (less courses similar to others, as well as themes/styles).

The tracks were shrunk down too much, making it practically impossible to stay on the road without doing it a thousand times perfecting it. It might just be me on 150cc.
EDIT: The problem isn't staying on the track. It's trying to get back up after you've fallen behind.

I still don't mind Riverside, and I tend to compare it to GCN DK Mountain/Dino Dino Jungle. It's more aesthetic than melodic, but a jazzy melody is still there.

That's an awfully dangerous assumption right there. While I believe it to be on of the worst of the series, due to its lack of innovation compared to Wii and DS, I still had fun with it, and currently have 62 hours and 39 minutes of playtime on it.

Just got Kirby's Blowout Blast, which launched on the 3DS eShop in North America today. Fun game, but the EX stages are a lot more brutal than I expected.

Taking a break from Breath of the Wild since I beat Ganon. I'm going to go ahead and call that "beating the game" even though I have lots of stuff still to do.

Anyway, since I'm still on a Zelda kick, Skyward Sword is up next. Picked up a Toad Wii Remote Plus on clearance and a brand-new Nunchuk (my old controllers are from 2006 lmao) and I've played for a few hours, just reached the forest temple. Seems cool so far and I'm really surprised and impressed at how good the motion controls are.
