In the Gaulem Bay Escape in Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

(After the player taps on a metal cylinder thing)

Sigma: Whoa... Anybody else feel dizzy all of a sudden?
Alice: No, that was just your imagination.
Sigma: Yeah... Right, whatever. So what the heck is this?
Alice: I have no idea, which makes it pretty useless to us.
Sigma: Hm...

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Maybe I could...
Luna: What are you going to do with that?

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: How about this!?
Alice: Nope. Are you serious?

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Maybe I could try hitting something with it...
Luna: What would you hit?

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Maybe there's something in here...
Alice: I don't think so.

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Maybe if we roll it around a little bit...
Luna: I don't think that's going to do anything...

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Let's climb up on top of it!
Alice: What is that going to accomplish?

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Yah! Yah!
Luna: Pushing down on it didn't seem to do anything.

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Maybe we're just using it wrong...
Alice: And what should we be doing?

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: *Pet* *Pet* *Pet*
Luna: Petting it isn't having any effect.

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Of course! I just need to throw it!
Alice: All you're going to do is break it.

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Mmmmm... Mmmmm...
Luna: Praying isn't going to help.

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Wow, this looks delicious.
Alice: How the hell is any of this delicious?!

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Snack time! *Munch* *Munch* *Munch*
Luna: O-Oh no...! What's wrong with him?!
Sigma: This is good! Oh man, it's soooo good...
Alice: Snap out of it! (slapping noise)

(Player examines the object again)

Sigma: Whoa... Anybody else feel dizzy all of a sudden?
Alice: No, that was just your imagination.

XDDDD I swear it's these little exchanges that are the greatest

Sorry to double post, but I'm replaying that game and have the most excellent thing: In one of the scenes, Dio claims he has more "gentlepoints" than anyone present. In one of the files, it discusses "gentlepoints" and how they're a measure of how gentlemanly you are. Here's the formula:

(Old ladies escorted across the street) x (tophats owned) x (puzzles solved) x (money given to gentleman-tracking organization) = Total gentlepoints

Methinks they're referencing Professor Layton

Also, I love the irony in the game including in one of the files "Knox's Ten Commandments"--Ronald Knox's rules for writing a mystery novel:
1. The criminal must be mentioned early on.
2. All supernatural or preternatural agencies are ruled out.
3. No more than one secret room or passage.
4. No hitherto undiscovered poisons may be used, nor any appliance which will need a long scientific explanation.
5. No one with extra-sensory perception or similar powers can appear.
6. No accident must ever help the detective, nor must he ever have an unaccountable intuition which proves to be right.
7. The detective must not commit the crime.
8. The detective must declare any clues he may discover.
9. The stupid friend of the detective--the Watson--must conceal nothing from the reader.
10. Twin brothers, and doubles generally, must not appear unannounced.

I'm pretty sure all of these are broken at some point in the story.

Phi: It's got a lever... Try pulling it, Sigma.
Sigma: Why should I--
Phi: It might be dangerous. Maybe it'll trigger an explosion? Or possible it shocks you when you pull it? Who knows?
Sigma: Right. Then I have no choice. ...Did you really think I'd say that, you heartless monster?! There's nothing on either side, is there?
Phi: What's that supposed to mean?
Sigma: Ah, sorry for the confusion: I was talking about your breasts.

Just something from an LPer. He was playing colosseum and the game kept telling him that the enemy attacks didn't affect Misdrevous.
