Why hasn't Microsoft done this yet?

Why has microsoft not released a handheld version of the xbox?

HELLO MICROSOFT PLZ MAKE HANDHELD XBOX.

Think about it. They could make it a gaming device with 4G/WiFi capabilities so you could do Live ANYWHERE. Plus handheld versions of all the cool games lol.

Not that anyone really cares cuz i'm probably the only one who still posts in the Microsoft board xD

Because Nintendo has got a firm grip on the handheld market, and the PSP series basically eat all the share that Microsoft's handheld would have had. And it would introduce yet another format to the market.

In short, it wouldn't be profitable.
