NinSheetMusic Nintendo Awards!!!!!

So, anyway, I was thinking of hosting an award show for everything Nintendo, since that's what this site is all about! More info below. Learn how you can participate in the event!


This is the first NinSheetMusic Nintendo Awards. I don't know if there will be another one, it depends on the success of this one. Here is how it will work, step by step.

1. The list of awards are listed below. We'll start at Award 1 and make suggestions for nominees together.
2. After we fill in nominees for all the awards, we will go over and double check it. If we think it's good, we'll move to step three.
3. The polls for each award will be put up. I don't know if it will be on polldaddy, but I haven't used it too much, and I believe it costs a bit, but we'll fine something to use for the polls. If this gets enough support, I think it'd be cool to put them on the main site, but if not, we can keep it just in the forums.
4. We wait. After a month or so, I'll or someone will gather the results.
5. Sign ups for presentations will begin. More details on this later. You can choose to present and award's results with the rest of the forum in the form of an image, comic, or something like that.
6. Once the presentations fill, we give the presenters 2 weeks to complete their presentation(s). More times may be given if needed.
7. A date will be decided for the ceremony. This date will be on a weekend and will be over the course of a week. Some of these days will simply be sharing presentations and looking at results, while some of these will be saved for special events such as video game tournaments. I will be looking for hosts for these tournaments later.
8. Once this date comes, the ceremony is celebrated through the week. Once it finishes, the event is over until a next one (again, it depends on how successful this will be)

Sounds good? This will only be successful if we all help and have fun with it!

10 awards for each series needs to be a requirement. Seven really isn't enough for some of the later ones. :PP

We need to have "best soundtrack" for each category. For Mario, I suggest deleting the Paper Mario award since there are plenty of people who haven't played that. In addition, the Super Mario 64/Sunshine award should probably include the Galaxy games as well. I also don't think more than four nominees should be accepted.

As far as Zelda: I still think "best soundtrack" needs to be an award.

Pokemon: there should DEFINITELY be ten awards as with the others, as there is a lot to work with when Pokemon is concerned. Here are some ideas:
1. Best Pokemon game (games released on the same day are considered the same game [Ruby and Sapphire are the same game, Emerald is not])
2. Favorite Region
3. Favorite Champion
4. Favorite Type
5. Least Favorite Pokemon
6. Favorite Soundtrack
7. Favorite Town
8. Favorite Evil Team
9. Favorite Supporting Character
10. Hardest Gym Leader Fight

I added those Pokemon ones for placeholders. If someone wants to suggest alternatives, feel free to do so.

I also, added the sountrack for Mario and Zelda. I don't know if it will work with some considering some of them (Pikmin, Kid Icarus), don't have enough games for the award.

The ceremony isn't much, it's just at a certain time and people post their presentations, and others comment on the results and the presentations.

The point? Well, it's fun!

Added these. But I'm not sure if the Gameboy Color deserves it's own award. I mean, were there really that much Nintendo games for it? Or, maybe combine Gameboy Color with either Gameboy or GBA.

^Both of those are for ORIGINAL GAME BOY -_- Game Boy Color can be combined with Game Boy, but GBA needs to be a separate caategory.
