who needs education when you can have WAIFUS!!!!!

I got caught up in trying to ignore the madness last night. Regardless, here is the sheet:
Shovel Knight
La Danse Macabre (Lich Yard)
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

Well, it needed replacing, so I made one.

edit: looks like I broke 100k hits so that's cool

Ginga Force
Gallant Gunshot [Chapter 7]
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

Possibly my all time favorite Yousuke Yasui composition of all time. Indirectly picked by Yug_Guy

Listened to your latest KRtDL "Volcano Area" transcription and noticed some things:
  • There is no starting dynamic indication. Mezzo forte or maybe even mezzo piano doesn't sound like a bad idea at the start, though!
  • The first staccato C eighth note in Bar 20 should be a 16th note instead, with the B natural immediately below it right afterwards as another 16th note.
  • IMO, this piece should be in 12/16 time instead of 6/8 time - this is particularly emphasized in 16th-note passages like Bars 21-24, where every third 16th note is de-emphasized (instead of every second 16th note as I'd expect from 6/8 time).

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
Rock in the Road
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

I really should finish SC

Indirectly picked by Jake Luigi

With that, I have finally surpassed my last weekly arrangement attempt. 16 sheets, my current streak, is closing in on 4 straight months of sheets. I've enjoyed it and keeping this pattern helps keep me engaged with arranging and updating in general, so I don't plan to stop any time soon.

Umineko: When They Cry
happiness of marionette
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

Picked by me. I've always loved this song and finally finished a WIP on my PC that's been sitting there for years.

Radiant Historia
Memories of the World
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

I didn't forget, I'm just late.
Indirectly picked by MSF.

Radiant Historia
To the Battlefield
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

turns out posting an arrangement is challenging when you travel and leave your laptop charger behind.

Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem - Heroes of Light and Shadow
Before Battle
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

Always wanted to arrange this song, and I think I did it justice. It's one of my favorite preparation themes of the series. The best part, the section right before the loop, is somehow cut out of most versions of the song online so it was a pain to find one that actually had the full song on it.

And that's 20 arrangements delivered in weekly fashion this year. I hope to keep it up next year, so look forward to more!

Metroid Prime
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

Hey, the metroid section isn't going to replace itself now, is it?

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
In the Fields
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

The sheet on the site was asking for a replacement and I really like this song, so who was I to say no?

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
Realm of the Heavens
[midi] [.mus] [.musx] [PDF] [Original]

Yes, there are actual sheets I'm working on that aren't replacements. Probably.
