I find it falls better on the hands with the lh up the octave. There's less jumping and less need for large intervals. It also has the call and response going between hands and then it comes together in one hand in measure 7, which I find really satisfying (and more musically inclined, probably)

Quote from: goldenscruff on Today at 05:57:23 AMAny thoughts on including a detached or staccatos in the L.H.? I think it could use some.
Since its written in the Baroque style, all non-slurred notes are played detached (I put hidden staccatos on all of them). I'll put an expressive text for clarification.

Quote from: goldenscruff on Today at 05:57:23 AMI'm hearing the cello m2 b4 to m4 b2 and octave lower than in the sheet. Is there a reason why this isn't down the octave?
You wouldn't be able to play the middle voice

Theme suggestion: Graduations/departures. Tunes in games that signify a new beginning or a closure (start of adventure, end of adventure, a drastic change during the adventure). Examples would be: Departure from Wind Waker, Time to Set out from Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, probably any credits theme, etc.

For the most part, there's three distinct melodic lines (then the harpsichord), so I arranged it like a three part invention

Quote from: Kricketune54 on May 10, 2024, 11:08:21 AMI tried, could not hear it. To me this measure just sounds like an F major chord's 1st, 3rd, and 7th. I think I personally hear the flute also going to a Cn, but I'll take your word
I still do hear that note, but it is supposed to be an octave higher so I did that (didn't put an 8va because it looked confusing on the low gravity sheet)

Quote from: Kricketune54 on May 10, 2024, 11:08:21 AMRight at 0:45 in the track I hear this En pretty clearly
Ah I'm hearing that now (i'm kinda bad at distinguishing 5ths and octaves 😭)

Quote from: Kricketune54 on May 09, 2024, 01:35:59 PM• m8 RH I don't hear a Gn
It's very soft, being played either by a synth or a flute

Quote from: Kricketune54 on May 09, 2024, 01:35:59 PM• m20 RH hearing a Cn above the G
I'm also hearing an F below the G

• m4 3rd layer last note (the Bb quarter note) what is this pitch representing? I couldn't quite place it in my listening is it a piano note?
Yeah, that's a piano playing that one. I'm also hearing it play another Bb an octave up on 4.5 but I kinda don't wanna include that since the spacing is already cluttered.

• m13 RH I hear a high pitched En - maybe move the An down to the LH staff if you also hear can hear this En?
I hear it too but it sounds more like an An to me?

So I was going to just tie the F# for those two beats since I figured with pedal it'll hold through, but I realized that the chord is moving down chromatically and you'd have to actually hold that note. So, I just put a rest and then the G on beat 3.

Oh so there is. And upon listening, there's another 4 bars after that too! (the strings are different)

Always a learning process! Also, to alleviate your concerns about plagiarism, Static's arrangement of Flight Club was completed in 2017 and shared on their arrangement thread.
