Yeah, I mean, why not just say it? Tell her that thing you told us about what you want. Talk to her about it. Because what else are you gonna do except leave it hanging or somehow get into a commitment you didn't want to be in.

Tell her you like her but you don't think right now is the best time for you. Maybe go on an official date first or something, I dunno. Context. But don't abandon it and leave her not knowing why and you not knowing if.

You can't ruin it by being honest and mature.

Piano Arrangements / Re: Rwars' Arrangements
August 04, 2017, 12:20:00 PM
We've got a Discord server. You could ask for feedback there maybe. You can probably PM Olimar12345 and ask about it. And don't worry about criticism. Lots of people here are actively pursuing music degrees so it can seem intimidating, but anyone you ask I'm sure will be willing to help to the best of their ability. The only reason I've ever seen a submission "rejected" is because the arranger doesn't respond to comments for a month.

Go ahead and hold yourself to your own standards, but lots of people here have been doing this for a long time, and getting advice from them can't hurt.

Looks cool. Any chance we get the MUS/MUSX files? I'm not great at just picking up pieces and playing them.

And yeah, good job reading the formatting guidelines. There would still be some particulars if you submitted (measure width, dynamic positioning, fitting it all on one page, etc...), but that's not the point of this thread. Do you intend on getting these on the site?

Though it's been pretty dead for a good while.

A Google employee followed me on Github. He's got 15,000 other people he's following too, but it's kinda cool still.

If your fingers feel fat or swollen, it probably means dehydration. It's not really the sun, but being outside and exercising can contribute to dehydration.

Yay. The more people hear how great ODST's soundtrack is, the better.

Small suggestion, people tend to want to watch a single video per cover. Somebody looking for an easy arrangement of "Pokémon League" isn't gonna want to sift through a 30-minute video. You could make a weekly playlist to group stuff and list the others from that week at the end of the video? I'm not an expert content creator, just somebody who watches a lot of YouTube.

My mark for this is that I've actually been able to learn these:

Halo 3: ODST
Light at the End: Another Rain

Shadow of the Colossus:
   Memories
   Prayer

Other people's stuff that comes to mind:

Super Mario 64:
   Dire Dire Docks

In the OP, you should keep a list of the stuff you've added and a list of stuff that has been suggested but doesn't have a video yet. People might contribute with their own videos. Especially if these are easier pieces.

This sounds like a much more extensive test than I went through. Instant fail on hitting the curb? Really? Who cares if you scratch your hubcaps while parking?

I literally just drove a route with a guy. There was no parking test or "how do you turn this on." I didn't even really know there was a score, but it makes sense that they have to quantify it.

ha

But seriously though, good luck on the test and don't worry about it too much. It's not like your future is determined by it or you only get one shot.

Gaming / Re: What are you playing right now?
July 28, 2017, 12:06:31 PM
Games like what? My mind goes to things like No Man's Sky and Far Cry where there's generally so much content and space to explore that you don't have to stop playing in the first place.

But in something like Zelda, Skyrim, Dragon Quest, Dark Souls, etc..., either each new visit is unique or the point is to gain new experiences or insight into the game's story and design. In my view.

Agreed and updated.

I had it as treble clef initially. I think my brain disliked the inconsistency. Fixed

They are different octaves, aren't they. Added doubling (and also held notes in 18-24, unless those seconds are too weird).
