I've never seen audible proof in a TWG and I would be surprised if I ever did!

Maybe it could be a case by case basis, in which players that know each other irl would mention this in the sign-up thread and decide (before either of them are sent role pm's) whether or not real conversations about twg will be allowed. The purpose of deciding this before a game starts is so one player wouldn't be able to accuse the other of being a wolf just because they declined the idea that could give them away if they turned out to be a wolf.

Well the point is not the proof or anything. It's just the possibility of giving information away.

For example, Popo had no idea that a mine was a wolf. Since he was away from the computer he wasn't able to reinforce his understanding of the role, thinking it was a human role. Because of this he gave an answer that was hazardous to himself. If he were online then he could easily check the details and give a better answer thus protecting himself.

Another problem is with IRL interrogating, considering you're talking IRL you know them and how they act, so when you ask them questions you can assume things based on how they answered and their actions, be it strange movements or their face that can give something away. This can be applied to someone who can't keep a straight face when being hounded by questions that make them look fishy because they know the truth of them being ultimately guilty if found out. (Basically, Being a wolf under pressure = Not good)

I could go on; obvious flaws in my arguments probably. But I'm tired and can't think of anything really good to expand on.

I just want to say this though, it was decided that if kotor, jake, or I were to play in any game with each other, there was to be no discussion about it in person.

As for skype and all that, I consider it online and if you're willing to talk to them it's fine.

Quote8. An Insta-Lynch is considered MORE than 50% of all votes on any given day. It results in the instant lynch of the voted player.

I would take that to be as soon as the total votes are counted at above 50%, thus making the player dead as soon as the last vote is submitted in the thread. So no more posts.

All those for in real life conversations, bold "Real Life Conversations".
All those for no in real life conversations, bold "No Real Life Conversation".
All those for Jub3r7's idea, bold "Jub3r7 is super coll".

Jub3r7

Jub3r7 is super coll aka decide it on a case-by-case basis during the sign-up of a game.

I personally think I could get away with real-life conversations as a wolf but for those who feel they couldn't, then they shouldn't be forced to talk about twg irl.

If two people forget to mention that they know each other irl during the sign-ups and don't decide beforehand, then it should automatically be a no talking real time.

e: Ninja'd by wry, and to answer you, it seems as if TWC is taking a majority vote. XD

I'm supposed to serve the NSM TWG community.  So whatever the majority wants, the majority gets.

Jub3r7 is super coll.

I think it should be on a person-by-person basis.  If both people agree to it prior to the game's start, it should be allowed.  Otherwise, it gives someone an unfair (dis)advantage.
