Probably my favorite from all the Jojo's soundtracks, plus it's entirely on piano!! This is one of those songs that I might be able to arrange myself in a week or two but I want to actually enjoy playing it (which I can never do with my own arrangements). Anyone who wants to pick this up gets automatically put on my buddy list

I've never actually played this game, so I'm just guessing on whether or not this is the actual song. If someone could clarify it'd be appreciated

I'm not sure if anyone here has played this game, but man is it adorable, as is the music. Listening to the soundtrack again made me realize how much I wanted to play some of the songs :D This is one of my favorites that I don't think I could arrange myself

Off-Topic / The Self Appreciation Thread!
March 14, 2013, 02:44:43 PM
I felt like people around here need a little more self confidence (me included :P) so here you go!

Post a quality or trait that you admire about yourself the most. Sort of like the "Say something nice about the person above you" game, but you're complimenting yourself instead. And dont get angry at anyone for overly bragging, since this is the place to do it :D

Help! / Accent mark for soft notes
March 01, 2013, 04:07:03 PM
I really didnt want to start a whole new topic for such a small question :/ Has anyone thought of a general topic for little questions?

So I know that the > sign in sheet music is used for accenting a note and playing it louder than the others (I'm pretty sure thats the right sign, if its not I hope you know what I'm talking about). Is there another sign that is for the opposite: to play it softly?

Help! / Chords
February 18, 2013, 05:10:05 PM
One thing I've noticed is how hard it is (for me at least) to hear chords. I can tell a chord from a plain note, obviously, but how can you figure out all the notes within a chord? Is there a way to split them up or does everyone just hear them so much or take classes so they know what they sound like? I dont know much vocab when it comes to music, so please dont be too confusing :P

Help! / Rhythm Groupings
January 22, 2013, 03:08:10 PM
I know this has been asked countless times before, but even after reading everything I find I still have no idea how to work rhythm groupings. Can someone explain it shortly and simply (if thats possible) without using too much fancy musical vocabulary? From what I've gathered, I think its something like the stronger beats in a measure must be shown, for example is the piece is in 4/4 time you need to show the 1st and 3rd beats using ties?

Feedback / Soundtrack Lists
December 30, 2012, 12:28:25 PM
I've been thinking on and off about this. What if there was a thread with all the games's soundtracks, with each one crossed off if it had been arranged already? Of course this would be a pain and a huge project to do, but I feel bad when someone arranges a song that has already been done, plus, sometimes its hard to use the search button since you dont always know where to look and its easy to miss something. I also think it would motivate people if they see which songs have already been done and that they're that much closer to finishing the whole soundtrack. It would format sort of like an Arrangement Project, with the entire soundtrack laid out in one place.

Or we could just vote and stack up arrangement projects for the games people have the most interest in, basically doing this but one at a time

It counts as videogame music :3

Help! / Metronome markings
November 19, 2012, 03:28:07 PM
The song Im arranging now has a tempo of Quarter note = 98.5. Should I change it to 98 or 99, since thats not even really a number and your average metronome doesnt have that speed? Im positive its that speed; I played the songs at the exact same time and 99 seemed too fast, 98 too slow, but 98.5 was the right speed
