I just bought this lens because of a SUPER SALE in the Canon refurbished shop. It's supposed to be $1000 new but I got it for much less than that since there was a one week sale combined with instant savings combined with free shipping.

I'm happy that I got such a deal but my poor bank account...

Happy that now I can really, really take professional photos and can disguise how old my camera actually is! HAHAHA

They've already sold out of some of the higher end ones (the ones $1000+) within hours, because of scalpers. So you don't need a dslr to buy/profit off lenses Now I really hope I will actually get the lens!

I would be a scalper if only I can buy more than one at a time

lol, that reminds me when I met an eccentric guy selling conch (like the shell fish) salad and he called himself the "conch czar". Unfortunately, I can't link to the image since the original site for him is down. You can still view it in Google though.

I use my laptop through a HDMI cable connected to a TV because the screen is broken, and today there's a horizontal tear every time something moves, whether it be a YouTube video or me scrolling the screen quickly. This has never happened before, but yesterday I put the HDMI cable into my Wii U for the first time in a while.
