If someone can't see past differences like religious(or non-religious ) beliefs they don't deserve to be your friend. I keep my annoying bigot friends around just to troll them but that's different.

Yea. You are friends because you have fun together and genuinely care about that persons well being whether they are a Catholic Conservative, an atheist liberal, an agnostic communist or a hindu libertarian. You value people for who they are and even though I judge my friends in good fun, I still value them as friends.
