Fuck logic, that shit is boring, lame and does not always support my opinions.

I hate that fact... and the funny thing, the short girls are all attracted to me (mainly this group of asian girls from my office)

BUT

I have to consider genetics... I want tall kids, and with short wife =/= tall kids UNLESS she has a recessive gene of tallness.

SO

If I marry a tall girl and have kids, both tall genes are dominant and THEREFORE, tall kids!

i made a quick list of why being a talk girls sucks
Hands don't reach most sinks
Shower heads in hotels are too low and you need to crouch to shower
No clothes reach past wrists
No clothes reach past waist
No clothes reach past ankles (or shins in some cases)
Comfortable tights are virtually nonexistent
Never able to wear clothes received as gifts because they're never the right size
Giant shoulders
Everyone can see straight up your nose
Old men constantly checking you out
No heels
Not many dresses that fit nicely since they're all tailored for small people
Uncoordinated
Skulliosis
Back problems
Giant feet
Giant hands
Poor circulation and blood pressure
Can't stretch without bumping something/someone
Inflexible
Hit your head on door frames
Feet hang off edge of bed
^consequences: feet always cold in winter
Extra ten feet of leg to shave
(Kinda irrelevant but shin guards in soccer never covered me completely and it hurt)
I always get hit by ceiling fans omg
When sitting in an average chair your knees are angled upwards
Sitting in bleachers is a nightmare
Always having to hold the umbrella
Legs don't fit under piano while wearing shoes
Hearing people under 5'10" complain about being tall??
Almost always the big spoon
When holding hands, the other person's hand is always too low to reach without them holding it up (strangely, arms aren't proportional with height)
Intimidating at first glance
Dating shorter person is very awkward
Having to bend/crouch down to talk to people
Impossible to sit on a typical bus without losing circulation somewhere in legs
Temporary vision and sensory blackout while getting up after lying down for a while
Unintentionally the center of attention
Standing next to a shorter person always produces funny looks/comments
Always catch people staring at you
"Do you play basketball?"
"Do you play volleyball?"
"Do you model?"
"You should play basketball!"
"You should play volleyball!"
"You should be a model!"
"I wish I was that tall"
"[Insert little kid's comment about being a giant]"
"Can you reach this for me?"
"How's the weather up there?"
"Does everyone look like ants to you?"
"Jeez, I should've eaten my vegetables too"
"Tall people can't get fat!"
"Everyone loves tall girls"
"You should just accept being tall"
"Stop complaining, everyone wishes they could be like you"
[close]
I don't really expect anyone to read all that but I just need to rant...sorry

DrP

Half of those apply to me!! You aren't alone..

And also you should add: Hitting your head on low door frames and tree branches

*read it all* It's actually surprisingly kinda the same for short people but you just reverse everything you said. For example, rather than "Unintentionally the center of attention", it becomes something like "Unintentionally ignored", and rather than "Giant hands", it would be "Hands too small to play piano" for short people. Oh and but I still get things like "'Do you play basketball?'" because apparently, all asians play basketball. And "Intimidating at first glance" doesn't really just apply to tall people. I get that a lot because of my hair, my unintentional glares, my clothes, my serious mood, etc. It's not really your height that's to blame, in my opinion. Also I used to have a crush on a girl 8 inches taller than me but she had a bitch personality so I kinda got over her. xD Moral of the story: Short people have it bad too.

I was actually talking about how bubbles misspelled "tall" but yeah I'm above 6 ft and it's really annoying

SuperFireKirby

Bobbles, just do what I do and make fun of all the short people for being short. Haha...shorties.

So I got all my pay information.

Turns out that I didn't get paid for the 3 business days before I started working (so there goes $600 -- I was told I'd get money for the whole month)...

and on top of that, they deducted 40% of taxes from my Moving reimbursement (so another $600)

So... it seems that this missing $1,200 is really making me go nuts... why? because i budgeted for it. And on my budget $1200 is ALOT

Ruto

Hahaha I don't really see height as a problem, but then again I'm on the short side :( And clothes would fit better if I was a couple inches taller. For some reason clothing stores don't think there are such things as short, skinny people.

Maybe you should follow a short person around for a day and see how that's like xD I also had a really tall lab partner last year and she was really helpful!

Quote from: Yugi on January 30, 2014, 08:09:18 PMWhat if Tall Guy likes Short Girl?

I'm curious about how that should work out, but I shouldn't be...xDDD *cough*

D: sheeesh. For anyone except the millionaires you mean...I assume you already know how much your salary is going to be taxed too? :/

I seem to be missing a piece of my ear.

Many of those apply to tall people in general... plus, tall males are at a greater risk to get a spontaneous pneumothorax. D:
I don't care though. I like being tall(er). :P
And the moral of the story: Quit while you're a head.
