I'll join the list of losers. #1 sounds a bit like the castle theme from NSMB but isn't and #4 sounds a bit like the credits theme from Ruby/Sapphire but isn't. That's about all I could come up with.

What I think I'll do on Thursday is update the file with extended versions, twice as long. Anyone who recognizes the themes now will get 1.5 points for each one, but after I change the files it'll be 1 point each. Does that sound fair?

(In other words, PM me any answers you have ASAP if you know any.)

One more update: across all participants, 8 out of the 10 themes have been guessed so far. 2 of them remain unknown.

If anyone has any more guesses, submit them soon. I'll probably be posting the updated versions at about 8:00 PM EST tomorrow, after which they'll all be worth 1 point instead of 1.5 points.

Also, E. Gadd, I'm curious to know where those themes are from. Post the solutions?

1. No one correctly guessed any of the songs!
2. All of these games are on mobile devices and are considerably obscure, even for mobile games. This is why I considered it the ultimate challenge. Or super-annoyance, depending on how you look at it.

The extended version is ready. Each theme has been doubled to tripled in length, and as a result some of them are significantly less obscure. I think this is how I'll do it:

If you want to see the extended version, PM me on NSM or somewhere else (i.e. Skype) and I'll send you the link to the Dropbox folder. I will not be posting it here currently, so that anyone who hasn't guessed yet or still wants more time doesn't have to lose the extra 0.5 points per melody.
