I'm Back Winter! But not for long, Just came in too say that after close to a year of recovery and theraphy I'm all back on my 2  feet. But sadly won't be making any more sheets.

#1 reason: My computer had died and all the sheets I had made during my time in recovery.

#2 reason: While in recovery I took up an interest in Java Coding and Programming and C++.

Just came in too say thanks to winter for having uploading the sheet. You don't know how happy that made me when I saw it.

So with a heavy heart I Bid you all farewell.

Quote from: Shadoninja on December 12, 2010, 02:36:54 PMpage layout needs a bit of fixing... the staves are kind of everywhere. the composer and arranger credits aren't right aligned. there's a huge space between the title and the first system of staves. overall, it's better suited as a solo piano work.

yeah, I know. This is my first time making music sheets, And im still learning XD

Quote from: winterkid09 on December 12, 2010, 03:40:08 PMOkay cool :) once we get a solo version, me or Shado will add the 8vb's.

If your program can't make the sheets formatted correctly, I can understand, we would be able to fix that up.

And yea... Jake you can quote 2 people in one post

Lulz sorrry XD ill start working on a solo version now.

Quote from: winterkid09 on December 12, 2010, 02:44:56 PMi was thinking the same thing, can we arpeggiate some of the notes so that it's a solo piece?

Also jake, what exactly did you want me to fix in the song? You were saying something about 8vb's

Maybe we should make it a solo first..

Yeah, we can do that. Also its measure's 38 and forward.

Quote from: Cobraroll on December 11, 2010, 02:50:43 PM^Why? Please put a little more effort into making the opening post of a thread. If you just ask a question in the title, and put a few short words in the opening post, it just screams "nooooooooooby!!!"
For example, providing This link might spark some discussion.

My view on the matter on topic is split. On one hand, it could potentially be great. Then again, efforts to convert a game to a film hasn't exactly brought good results in the past. The things that made the game awesome might not work as well in movie format. The elements of exploration, puzzle-solving or side quests simply can't be replicated in a movie.

Then again, I'm all for making a movie based on the Legend of Zelda, but independed on any of the games' storylines. That would give the writers a little more freedom. Actually, there are quite a few fan projects in the works out there, but with a limited budget and competence, the results vary in quality (usually between "mediocre" and "terrible"). However, the fake trailer IGN made and all the response they got shows that it might be worthwile for Nintendo to actually put some money in an official movie. Here's hope. But not much expectations.

True, It scares you because it can come out really great or really bad, plus Link NEVER talks in the game, so makes you wonder if he would talk in the movie. Oh an yeah I saw that video from IGN.

Quote from: winterkid09 on December 11, 2010, 02:10:27 PMThey're accurate to the game right? If it's not meant to be a duet, It probably shouldn't be.

Yep Grovyle's Sacrifice is really complex, and playing it on 1 piano is extremly hard, trust me i tried it. So I decided to make it a duet. Same goes for the Sacred Duet.

Quote from: Cobraroll on December 11, 2010, 02:35:10 PM^Well, given the introduction of separate submission threads, it would no longer considered to be "clustering the forum" to post inaccurate arrangements on purpose, right?

Still, I think Jake should actually upload the sheets, so we could take a look at them. Sites like MediaFire.com are excellent for this purpose.

When I finish them, im going to send them to winterkid, he will then transfer to Finale, but ill upload later how they are up to know the one's im working on.

I think they should.

Quote from: Bloop on December 11, 2010, 01:22:07 PMI'm curious. But where watching.. and waiting...

Yeah. I started making sheet music roughfully 2 or 3 weeks ago. So i think there may be some errors one some XD. Most of the sheets im making are duets, since me and my gf play the piano, and we both like the same songs we both can play them.

Quote from: SlowPokemon on December 05, 2010, 09:34:06 AMHmm, that's an interesting one! Sure thing, I will transcribe it, but just so you know, the site accepts PDFs as of today.

Yeah. I know, I saw the update and I was like OMG!!! YES!!!, But still it's better to have both. some people may some problem reading sheet. and sometiems hearing it while seeing it (something you can do with finale and not with a PDF) makes it easier to learn. I know for me it is.

Okay. Ill see if I can finish it today. Im supposed to be putting up the tree XD

Quote from: SlowPokemon on December 05, 2010, 06:56:52 AMIt depends on if I like the song, and how long it is, and what it's from. Post some of the pdf files here, I might do one to be nice.

Well. I'm almost done with a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon one. Through the Sea of Time, or Grovyle's Sacrafice. Its a Duet BTW.
