I guess nocturne knows my gender now I'm 6'1" and growing, though I prefer to say 5'13". I can't tell if my school is really short or everyone is taking forever to get their growth spurt, but I am by far the tallest girl and there's only a handful of guys my height

So, as you probably know, I moved last weekend.

I also rented a van to get all my stuff moved around. Paid it, drove it, returned it. Moving went smoothly. Everything was quick.

... Except this Wednesday I got an email from the rental company saying that the van was damaged. Apparently it's my fault so I should file a damage report to the insurance company and then pay for all the damages. Oh, also because I'm a dishonest piece of shit and didn't report said damage, they're going to charge me extra. I don't know how much as so far I've found three different clauses on the website and the emails they've sent me. Of course none of this was in the actual terms of service.

But the thing is, I didn't cause the damage. There's no way I wouldn't have noticed hitting something that caused it. I don't have any proof though, so it's pretty much my word against theirs. And guess which of us is in a better position? I asked my brother-in-law who happens to be a lawyer and, well, his opinion was that if I get lucky I might pay something like 400€. If they want to be difficult, I could be paying >1000€. Did I mention that we're talking about a side bumper here?

So yeah, I've got this going for me. In addition to having a nice chunk of my savings taken away by something I didn't do, the damn thing is stressing me way too much. I couldn't get any work done on Wednesday as I had to try to sort this thing out, so I need to do some hours tomorrow. Nor did I succeed at finishing this week's assignments so I guess I'm spending the rest of the evening doing those.

Never renting a car again.

And to be honest I don't think there's anything weird about 6'1" I wish I were above 6 feet.

When I look for girls, being over 5'9" is a HUGE plus (no pun intended).

With all the women in my family being above 5'9", it's something I've grown up with and I can't part of it. (Plus if I dated a girl who is 5'4", it'd look like she was in jr high l and it just be really awkward for me to do anything, being 6'4"and all).

Tall girls are just. plain. beautiful. -- now I just need to find one next time I am in Sweden and Denmark... because according to my best friend, the prophecy says I will marry a tall, blonde, Scandinavian woman.

Seriously though, and I can speak from experience, if you like a girl taller than you, tell her. Don't be intimidated, that's ridiculous. I'm a huge wimpy mush because I'm genetically forced to be a strong person when that's the complete opposite of what I want to be, and my tall friends (and by tall I mean 5'9 or whatever) feel the same way. It boggles my mind that anyone can be even slightly intimidated by me.
