The Rant Thread/My Life Sucks Topic [Don't be pricks]

Rant No. 5925 about California.

So, I'm completing a 5 year plan about where I want to live and where it would make sense to go. And I came up with this.



Just my Home related expenses are OVER 50% of my Net Income after taxes (which is 40% of my Total income), which leave 23% for Savings and Retirement and the rest for living.

Compared to Washington where my Effective Tax Rate (ETR -- the rate of tax I actually pay) is 9% less and my home expenses equate 34% of my total net pay... The problems with living in an area where everyone wants to go.

Because I'm both happy and stressed about it! Schools over in 3 weeks.

So in the next 3 weeks I have to:

- Work
- Finish all my schoolwork
- Move
- Be fabulous
